On this date we opened our store as a fabric shop for children's clothing carrying mainly fabrics and patterns and threads for kids clothes as well as carrying our beloved BERNINA's. Barb has been the one and only owner since day one! (Picture: Barb in the store first day we were open)

Our BIG move -July 27th, 2023

While we were on Whitesburg Drive, we continued to grow until we outgrew our previous location and needed a larger space to better serve our customers. On July 27th, 2023 we moved into our beautiful new spacious location! Today at Barb's you can find quilting fabrics, quilting patterns, notions, batting, precut fabrics, heirloom fabrics, heirloom laces, ribbons, garment patterns, BERNINA machines and accessories, as well as Horn cabinets, and many more things! The Next Generation

Imagine building a legacy that can go on for generations to come! That's exactly what Barb has done! Today at Barb's what started as a family business remains a family business! While Barb still plays a big part of the store, she has passed down her legacy to the next generation.

Return and Refund Policy

Fabric

All fabric sales are final. Due to the nature of cutting fabric to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on fabric purchases.

Notions, Patterns & Other Products

Unused, unopened items (such as notions, tools, kits, and packaged goods) may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase.
Items must be in their original packaging and in resaleable condition.
A receipt must be shown to be eligible for a refund. We can not issue a refund without proof of purchase.

Sale & Clearance Items

All sale and clearance items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

Custom Orders & Special Cuts

Custom orders and special requests/orders are non-refundable.
If you have questions or need help with a return, feel free to contact us at 256-539-2414.

BERNINA Accessories

Accessories may be returned within 30 days if they are:
- Unopened and unused
- Have the original price sticker intact
- Accompanied by a receipt for full credit

New BERNINA Machines

Returns are handled on a case-by-case basis — please call us for details.
To be considered for return:
- The machine must be unused
- All original parts and packaging must be included
- The warranty must not be registered
- A restocking fee will apply
- Machine sales are subject to our approval for return. We reserve the right to refuse a refund.

Used Machines

All used machine sales are final.
- No refunds or exchanges. No exceptions.
